First and foremost, I believe in innovation, progress and ongoing change. AI is something bound to happen, it will stay, the singularity will come at one point in time. Second, I think Medium should not police or exclude AI-supported or AI-written content, let the best content win, let the people of Medium decide. This is a competitive platform where the best writing is published and competing for readers. Similar as to cooking a difficult meal, a better oven or cookingware can make the resulting outcome, the meal, more delicious. What I might be concerned about is a bunch of useless crap content flooding the platform, however, I wouldn't expect people to spend time reading such stuff anyways... so this results in me having no concern whatsoever. On the contrary, I'm super excited to read more high quality stuff, be it from humans, humans using AI to express their creativity and ideas more "palatable" and all the ideas that might not have come through as not everyone with awesome kick-ass ideas is a natural born writer! Let the best content win and don't penalize/ intervene here, that's my suggestion. I'm excited to reading some next-level content here soon!
