I agree with how dividend investors never need to sell their stocks, however, growth- or simple index investors might grow their wealth faster over the long run. Depending on your domicile, capital growth and dividends might be taxed differently. And we shouldn't forget how some companies repurchase their own stocks in a tax efficient way for end-investors and also re-deploy capital. I prefer to grow wealth when young and then slowly move to a dividend dripping portfolio over the years. Once you're there, I agree it's the best!
