Let the Shit of Your Past be the Fertilizer of Your Future

Shit happens!

Failing is not a bad thing, it’s an opportunity to learn and grow.

And don’t worry, this is not just another shit-post, this is the real shit!

As we all have learned, our past experiences can be used as tools to shape our future if we take the time to reflect on them and use those insights to move forward in life.

No matter how big or small your “mistakes” may seem, they can all be turned into learning experiences and successes with just some effort and dedication.

To kick this off and make it more refreshing, let me share some of the most epic “learnings” or “fails” of my life, there shouldn’t be any surprise here.

Shit has happened to me as well before:

  • making it into the Swiss Army flight training at age 16, and dropping out again due to omitting a simple manual and therefore making a mistake
  • growing my first savings all the way up to six figures with aggressive investing — and all the friggin way back down again
  • rejecting a job offer for Google back in early 2004
  • unknowingly working for the Taiwanese mafia and witnessing a staged kidnapping of my boss
