Yes, I do know some option traders with little to no experience as well... however, on the other side I'm a big fan of tapping into what options have to offer, especially as selling covered calls, or selling cash covered puts for positions I'd like to add. It's the gambling attitude of those who are looking to "get rich quick" on anything they haven't tried yet that usually spoils the party. Democratizing all kinds of transactions is a great thing indeed as so much costs have been involved in trading options in the past, but like you said, just because you can doesn't mean you should!
